GRETNA, Neb. (KMTV) — Yesterday, the Nebraska State Patrol arrested two people for possession of methamphetamine at a Gretna gas station.
They say it began after troopers observed a suspicious vehicle and decided to investigate due to the proximity to Interstate 80 "a focus of high-intensity drug trafficking enforcement operations."
During their investigation, a K9 detected a controlled substance and a 17.5 pounds of methamphetamine were located.
The two occupants of the vehicle, 52-year-old Jose Ortiz-Figueroa and 51-year-old Ana Maria Murguia-Salonio, both of Mexico, were arrested for possession and lodged in Sarpy County Jail.
