OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Yesterday, the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) found presents during a traffic stop near Grand Island...presents full of pot.

NSP says troopers stopped a California man on Interstate 80 near Wood River and seized nearly 70 pounds of marijuana.

They say the stop was initiated after observing the driver following too closely.

In addition to the marijuana, the trooper also found "a meth pipe and a gram of methamphetamine on the driver’s person."

The driver allegedly told the trooper that the "presents" were for a new baby.

56-year-old Jospeh Hullinger was arrested for possession of marijuana – more than one pound, possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no drug tax stamp.

He was lodged in Hall County Jail.
