LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) - Monday’s snowstorm resulted in a busy day for members of the Nebraska State Patrol.
Troopers said as of 9 p.m. Monday, they have performed 313 motorist assists and responded to 28 crashes.
As of late Monday, troopers still advise against travel and warn impacts could extend into Tuesday as crews work to clear the roads.
Five state plows were struck by other vehicles on Monday but none of the crashes involved injuries. Four of the plows were able to return to service.
Over in Iowa, troopers there said as of 10 p.m., they responded to 215 motorist assists and 68 crashes.
