Odd-even parking ban to go into effect at midnight in Council Bluffs

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Neb. (KMTV) — The City of Council Bluffs has declared an odd-even parking ban will go into effect at midnight on Wednesday and will stay in effect until impacted streets are plowed curb to curb.

The ban applies only to streets where parking is allowed on both sides.

The ban will start with parking allowed on the side of the street with odd-numbered addresses. On Thursday, parking will be allowed on the side of the street with even-numbered addresses.

During the odd-even parking ban, no parking is allowed in cul-de-sacs until the snow has been plowed within the cul-de-sac.

Cars are subject to a fine and/or towing at the owner's expense during the ban.
