Officers respond to Bergan Mercy for walk-in shooting victim

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Officers responded to Bergan Mercy after a 17-year-old walked in with an injury from a shooting.

The victim told officers he was walking near 24th and G St when he heard 2-3 shots and felt pain in his chin.

He walked home and was transported to the hospital by a family member.

Officers responded to the hospital at 3:31 p.m. on Monday.

The victim suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his chin.
