OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Nebraska Chinese Association posted on its web site that it will be canceling its 2020 Chinese New Year Gala.
A letter from the association posted on the site stated, "Due to the outbreak of Wuhan Coronavirus, the performing art group has decided to reschedule their visit to North America, including the performance in Omaha. The rescheduling date has not yet determined. We attach great importance to the health and the safety of all guests attending the 2020 Nebraska Chinese New Year Gala."
The event was scheduled to be at the Holland Center on February 3.
