Omaha crime blotter, week of June 19

June 19: Police say two men were shot on 19th and Washington Monday night. One of the men, 44-year-old Jason Davis, later died at Nebraska Medical Center. The suspects are two Hispanic males in their late teens or early 20's. 

June 19: A 30-year-old woman was cut on her shoulder by her cousin after an argument over money. She was transported to Nebraska Medical Center. According to police, the suspect is 34-year-old DuWanda Morris. 

Over the weekend 

June 18: One person dropped off at Nebraska Medical Center early Sunday after being shot. Police responded to the scene on South 12th Street at 1:10 a.m. Injuries are not life-threatening and the investigation is on-going. 

June 17: At 3 a.m., officers responded to a shooting report at Immanuel Medical Center. The victim was 20-year-old Shyleah Archie, who suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Archie said the incident took place at Nathan Hale Middle School. There are no suspects at this time. 

June 17: Officers went to a scene on South 31st Street at 2:49 a.m. and found 27-year-old Paul Gordon dead. There was another victim, 21-year-old Nikolas Gordon on the scene. Nikolas was transported to Nebraska Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. It is unclear what happened at the scene and the investigation is on-going. 

June 17: A 56-year-old man said he was traveling eastbound on I-80 when another vehicle pulled up next to him and fired a single shot. The victim, Wesley Waltermire, refused medical attention. The suspect was driving a red vehicle and the investigation is on-going. 

June 17: Virjillo Gurrero-Quiros, 44, had an apparent gunshot would when police arrived on the scene. He was taken to Nebraska Medical Center in critical condition, where he later died. Police are investigating the death as a homicide. 

June 16: The Child Exploitation Task Force arrests 13 people in an undercover prostitution operation.
