The Red Cross is now assisting those displaced by an apartment fire Thursday night.
This took place at the Vanderbilt Apartments near 110th and Blondo at around 7:00 p.m.
Omaha Fire officials say when they arrived on scene, they saw heavy smoke and flames on the outside of the complex.
Around 40 firefighters worked to get the two alarm fire under control.
Luckily, there were no injures reported.
The cause of the fire is improperly discarded smoking materials.
