Wednesday was a big day for hundreds of nonprofits across the metro.
Omaha Gives, now in its sixth year, is expected to raise millions in online giving in 24 hours. The website reported more than 50,000 donations totaling more than $7.3 million had been made to 960 organizations.
Our own Adam Krueger and Audra Moore were in a dunk tank at Stinson Park at just after noon on Wednesday to raise money for the Omaha Home for Boys.
Last year, more than 18,000 people donated around $7.8 million to 923 non-profits.
