OMAHA, Neb — Sunday the Omaha Lancers had some special guests at the Ralston Arena for their match-up against the Tri-City Storm. The Operation NETS Initiative brought more than a dozen area kids out, along with members of the Omaha Police Department, to enjoy the game.
Operation Nets works to promote positive interaction between children and officers, building relationships between first responders and the communities they work in.
As part of the partnership the Omaha Lancers are now a collection site for Operation NETS. There are collection boxes at the Ralston Arena where you can drop off any donations of sports equipment for the program.
