The Omaha Lancers took a break from the ice to raise money for a good cause.
The hockey team traded their blades for clippers after Saturday night's game. This is video of the players, coaches and staff shaving their heads to raise more than $15,000 dollars to beat cancer.
The money went towards Leap-For-a-Cure, which works to help fund research, treatments and raise awareness for brain cancer in the Omaha area.
The team surpassed their ten grand goal through their jersey auction and Pass-the-Bucket campaign.
