Milton Felder, 51, was sentenced to 36 to 40 years for his role in the shooting death of 21-year-old Brandon White.
Felder was one of four people arrested in connection to the crime last May.
According to prosecutors, Felder and three teens planned to rob White during a drug deal. The three teens have not yet been sentenced.
