OMAHA, NEB. (KMTV) — Since the holiday season kicked off Omaha resident Steve Spurgeon has been traveling the area and spending time with the ones he calls America's Superheroes. 3 News Now Photojournalist Kevin Rempe caught up with him in north Omaha as he spread some Christmas Cheer to the Omaha Police Department.
Spurgeon has been in a band called the Confidentials for the last 30 years. He says he likes to help people no matter their race, religion, or political orientation.
"I just believe that to unify America we got to find some common ground. Something that we can come together and agree upon and honor is what's missing, ya we can be kind honor is that ingredient is what's missing in America right now. So we need to be reminded what honor is," Spurgeon explained.
