Winning the state title has become a tradition for Omaha North. After going back-to-back in 2013 and 2014, the Vikings once again claimed the Class A state championship after a 27-20 win against Kearney last week.
On Tuesday, the school celebrated the team with a pep rally and trophy presentation.
Zander Gray, who scored the game-winning touchdown with less than 30 seconds left, said he and the team were thankful fans had their back through the playoff run.
