Omaha Police investigate 5 shootings overnight

Police say two juvenile suspects have been arrested in connection to the shooting at 13th and Martha streets.

A 17-year-old male was booked for first-degree assault, and use of a weapon to commit a felony and discharging a firearm at an occupied vehicle. The second suspect, a 16-year-old male, was booked for accessory to a felony.

Both were arrested without incident and lodged at the Douglas County Youth Center.

Omaha Police responded to five shootings overnight Sunday, including one that killed a 37-year-old man.

Officers responded to CHI Creighton Hospital around 1:40 a.m. for a walk-in shooting involving a 16-year-old male.

The victim told police he was shot in the area of S 13th and Martha St.

His injuries are non-life-threatening.

Authorities responded to CHI Creighton Hospital around 2:15 a.m. for another walk-in shooting.

Officers contacted the victim, Eric Davis, 27, who said he was near N 24th and Lake St when he heard gunfire and realized he was shot.

His injuries are also non-life-threatening.

Police responded to the area of N 34th and Laurel Ave around 2:30 a.m. after a Shotspotter activation.

While officers were en route, the call was upgraded to a shooting.

Clint Webb, 35, was located and was suffering from apparent gunshot injuries, according to police.

Webb was transported to UNMC with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

At 5:10 a.m., officers responded to the area of N 45th St and Bedford Ave for a shooting.

Officers contact the victim, 18-year-old Catera Wilson, who said she was in the area of N 43rd and Ohio St when she heard gunfire and realized she was shot.

The victim was transported to UNMC where it was determined her injuries were non-life-threatening.
