Omaha Police investigate homicide; body found near church social hall

Omaha Police Department's homicide unit is investigating after a body was found near a church social hall around S 23rd and O St.

Officers were dispatched to Our Lady of Guadalupe Social Hall on Wednesday night for a well-being check.

Upon arrival, authorities found a deceased man.

According to a release from the Archdiocese of Omaha, the body was found in an outside storage shed on church property.

Tips leading to an arrest of a homicide suspect are eligible for a reward of $25,000.
