Omaha Police are investigating two separate robberies on Sunday.
Police were called to the Walgreens near 50th and Center just after 2 Sunday morning. The clerk told officers the suspect came in and acted like he wanted to buy cigarettes. While the clerk was holding the carton of cigarettes, the suspect tried to grab them. A scuffle ensued, with the clerk being thrown to the ground and the suspect ran off with the cigarettes.
The second robbery happened at the Big Bear Sinclair at 58th and Maple. A worker told officers a man walked in around 10:15 p.m., pulled a gun and demanded money. He then ran off with cash, cigars and alcohol.
Anyone with information about either robberies should call Crime Stoppers at 444-STOP.
