Omaha Police investigate two shootings early Sunday

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Police are investigating after two separate shootings Sunday left two injured.

Officers responded to the area of N 29th St and Ellison Ave around 2:30 a.m. for a ShotSpotter activation. Roughly 10 minutes later, the victim, 42-year-old Tarvoris Harper, arrived at CUMC - University Campus.

Harper's injury is non-life threatening, police say.

Authorities responded to the area of 29th and Bauman Ave around 1:50 a.m. to investigate an armed disturbance.

Police say the call was upgraded to a shooting and ShotSpotter indicated there was gunfire in the area.

The victim, 36-year-old Brandon Gardner, was located with a gunshot wound.

Medics transported Gardner with non-life threatening injuries to Nebraska Medical Center.
