Omaha Police investigating Friday night homicide

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Police officers located a male victim suffering from a stab wound on Friday night.

At 10:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to 2309 Irving Ct.

The victim, 22-year-old LaZell Hampton, was transported to UNMC where he later died from his injuries, according to OPD.

Twenty-four year old suspect Ahmed Ismaeil was arrested and booked for 1st degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
