Omaha Police investigating three Wednesday robberies

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Omaha Police Department is investigating three robberies that occurred Wednesday evening.

Around 9:45 p.m., officers were called to the Family Dollar at 834 S 24th Street. Witnesses said a male entered the store and demanded money while displaying a handgun. After receiving an undetermined amount of money, the suspect fled on foot. The suspect was wearing a black coat, gray sweatshirt, and tan pants.

Just over a half-hour later, around 10:20 p.m., authorities were called to the Phillips 66 at 5920 Sorensen Parkway. On arrival, witnesses said a male entered the store and demanded money while displaying a handgun. The suspect fled in a dark colored sedan after receiving some money. The suspect was in a black hooded sweatshirt and a black ski mask.

Just before midnight, officers were called to the Speedee Mart at 13235 Grover Street. Witnesses there said a male entered the store and demanded money and showed a handgun. The suspect fled on foot after receiving some money. The suspect was thin, wearing a black shirt or coat and a black ski mask.
