Omaha Police investigating Tuesday night shooting

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Tuesday night.

Police say officers responded to 1112 N. 48th Street around 8:15 p.m. and found a man who had an apparent gunshot wound to his leg.

Police say the victim told them he was in the area of Mandan Park when he saw a flash and realized he had been shot.

The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Shawn McCormack. His condition wasn't immediately available.
