OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Police are looking for suspects in three robberies that investigators say are all connected. One of the suspects, 24-year-old Marcus Evans, was arrested on three counts of robbery and use of a weapon to commit a felony Tuesday afternoon.

The string of robberies started at 5:58 a.m. at the Bucky's on 72nd and Maple where three black males wearing dark coats showed a gun and fled with money, cigarette and lottery tickets. Less than 20 minutes later, the cigarettes lottery tickets were taken from the Kwik Shop on North 72nd Street after the group threatened to shoot a clerk.

Finally, at 6:35 a.m., Omaha Police spoke with a customer at a Phillips 66 on Sorenson Parkway who said he exchanged gunfire with two black males and a Hispanic male. All of them were wearing black coats, according to a police report. OPD released video of the incident Tuesday afternoon.
