A spokesperson for the Omaha Police Department says an officer was injured while pursuing a suspect Friday afternoon.
The pursuit happened around 2 p.m. near 16th and Locust streets.
The spokesperson said the officer's injury was not inflicted by the suspect, but would not release any other information.
