An Omaha Police officer is no longer on street patrol amid accusations of having a sexual encounter with a woman days after he ticketed her in a DUI case.

According to our partners at the Omaha World-Herald, a 25-year-old woman is accusing officer Gregory Lemons of sexually assaulting her at an encounter at her apartment on Feb. 20, Lemons issued her a ticket for a DUI on Feb. 18.

Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer placed Lemons on administrative leave after being informed of the investigation into the alleged incident back in February. Lemons returned to work on March 21, but was placed on desk duty.

The Sheriff's Officer indicated there wasn't enough evidence in the the case fo file charges, however it is now under review by the Douglas County Attorney's Office.
