Omaha Police locate robbery suspect

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — 2/23/20 update:

Thirty-eight year old Thomas McBride was arrested at an Iowa casino Sunday, suspected of robbing the 44th & Ames Metro Credit Union on Saturday.

Members of UPB, CIB, Gang Unit, Able-1, K-9, ERU, and the FBI all assisted in the investigation, according to Omaha Police.

McBride was arrested without incident and booked into the Pottawattamie County Jail for the charge of Fugitive From Justice for the Omaha robbery warrant.

Omaha Police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Metro Credit Union near 44th & Ames on Saturday afternoon.

The teller said a white male entered the business and displayed a construction tool that appeared to be used as a weapon.

The suspect fled on foot westbound with an undetermined amount of cash.
