Omaha Police to host CSI Camp for high school students

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Police Department is hosting a nationally accredited team of forensic investigators once again this year at the CSI camp for high school students.

They'll learn more about how investigators uncover evidence.

The camp is Wednesday, June 12th at OPD's Public Safety Training Center, 11616 Rainwood Road from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Campers will participate in the following:
-Casting and Comparison Shoe Impressions
-Fingerprinting
-Crime Scene Documentation and Investigation
-Forensic Mapping with 3D Laser Scanners

Space is limited and only 35 spots are available.

Registration is $30.00 per student, which covers camp materials, t-shirt and lunch.
