OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — New information shows that Omaha set the record for the snowiest February.
Our meteorologist Jennifer Zeppelin confirmed this with the National Weather Service. A miscommunication with observers at Eppley Airfield shorted the city nearly two inches during last weekend's storm.
In total, Omaha got 27 inches of snow for February, topping the 1965 record by more than an inch and a half.
