Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium celebrated its one-millionth visitor of 2018.
The one-millionth visitor to walk through the gates was Carissa Hindman from Papillion around 9:40 a.m. Saturday.
Hindman was visiting the zoo with her husband Josh and their two children. Today also marks the couple's sixth anniversary.
Hindman said Saturday's zoo trip was their “last Zoo day” before moving to South Dakota where the family will be stationed through the United States Air Force.
The family received a complimentary zoo membership, gift basket, all-day wristbands and a special Zoo tour.
