Omaha Police arrested a man who accidentally shot his pregnant girlfriend Sunday night.
Police were called to the shooting near 75th and Shirley around 7:15 p.m.. Investigators say 31 year old Christina Bernal suffered a gunshot wound to her leg and was taken to Nebraska Medicine for treatment. 31 year old Thomas Devore told police he was handling the gun when it fired and a bullet struck Bernal.
Devore was booked for unlawful use of a weapon.
