SNYDER, Neb. (KMTV) — A 26-year-old man died in a two-vehicle crash just east of Snyder on Tuesday morning.

According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the accident on Hwy 91.

Investigation revealed a 1997 Geo Metro, driven by 26-year-old Isaac Wilson of Oakland, was driving westbound on Hwy 91 when the car crossed into the eastbound lane.

Authorities say Wilson's vehicle was struck by an eastbound 2011 Ford F350 pickup truck, driven by 28-year-old Brian Steffensmeier of Clarkson.

Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Steffensmeier and his 22-year-old passenger were uninjured, according to authorities.

Police say Wilson used a seat belt; however, neither Steffensmeier or his passenger were restrained.

Alcohol is not considered a factor.

The accident remains under investigation.
