OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A man is dead after a single vehicle accident late Friday night.
Dodge County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the scene on Highway 30 near County Road 2, approximately five miles west of North Bend, NE.
According to a press release from the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, 31-year-old Jacob W. Schamp of Columbus, NE was traveling eastbound when the 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe went off the right side of the highway and rolled.
Schamp, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Speed is considered a factor in the accident which remains under investigation.
