Officials say a young man died in a single vehicle accident near 192nd and Pacific early Friday morning. The victim was identified Friday afternoon was 17-year-old George Gervase.
According to Omaha Police, the driver, who was the only one in the vehicle at the time of the accident, was traveling at a high rate of speed while traveling southbound on 192nd.
Just past Pacific Street, he lost control of his vehicle, crossed the center line, crashed through a fence and power pole and rolled down a hill.
