OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Speed and alcohol are considered factors in an early Saturday crash that killed a 25-year-old Omaha man, according to Omaha Police.
Around 3 a.m., officers were dispatched to a personal injury crash near N 50th St and NW Radial Hwy.
Investigation showed that a 2015 Chevy Cruz driven by 25-year-old Jayson Reliford was westbound at a high rate of speed on NW Radial when the vehicle crossed the raised median and struck an eastbound 2018 Chevy Cruz driven by 33-year-old Jennifer Rohr.
Reliford, the lone occupant of the 2015 Chevy Cruz, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rohr and a passenger in the 2018 Chevy Cruz were transported to Nebraska Medicine for treatment.
The crash is under investigation, police say.
