An Omaha man has been booked on charges of second-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony after he cut a man at an apartment complex near 35th and Howard early Wednesday morning.
The victim, Alejandro Sanchez-Rios, was transported to Nebraska Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect, 50-year-old Dennis Brown, was booked at Douglas County Corrections.
