One person was killed in a crash Tuesday morning near Gretna.

The crash happened around 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of Cornhusker Road and 216th Street.

Sarpy County deputies say it appears the driver of a car that was westbound on Cornhusker ran the stop sign and was hit by a pickup that was northbound on 216th.

On Tuesday afternoon, Sarpy County officials identified the drivers involved in the crash.

Officials say 22-year-old Austin Hansen was killed in the crash.

The other driver was identified as 21-year-old Timothy Shanahan.

Officials say the investigation is ongoing, however charges are not expected to be filed.
