One person died, and two others were hurt in a crash in Southwest Iowa late Sunday afternoon.
The Iowa State Patrol says 80 year old Alice Campbell of Hastings died in the crash on U.S. Highway 34 near Malvern, Iowa. Troopers say a westbound car collided with her eastbound minivan in the eastbound lane. The driver of the other car, 55 year old Patti Jipsen of Elliott and her passenger, 53 year old Barbara Irwin of Charleston, Illinois were both flown to hospitals in Omaha for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
