OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — On Monday, firefighters were called to a fire at the Siena/Francis House homeless shelter. After knocking out the fire, the Omaha Fire Department carried out an investigation and found the cause to be "incendiary in nature." Today, they say an arrest was made.

The department says they were able to make an arrest after reviewing surveillance footage and conducting interviews with people at the scene.

The suspect has not been named, was charged with Arson 1st Degree and was taken into custody on Wednesday.

They say the blaze started on the ground floor and that all occupants were able to exit without injury.
