Omaha Police is investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian.
According to police, on Tuesday at 8:45 p.m. officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was identified as 41-year-old Micheal Thomas of Tillamook, Oregon.
Police say that Thomas was laying down on 168th Street when stuck by a southbound 2021 Honda Ridgeline driven by 50-year-old Christopher Washburn of Omaha.
Thomas was transported by Omaha Fire Department medics who attempted life-saving measures but Thomas died shortly after arrival at Bergan Mercy Hospital.

Omaha Police say one person was taken to the hospital with CPR in progress after being hit by a vehicle Tuesday night.
It happened near 168th and Gold around 8:45 p.m.
