On Thursday evening at approximately 7 p.m. Omaha Police dispatch confirmed with 3 News Now that a gunshot victim was transported to Bergan Mercy in critical condition following an incident near 153rd Circle and Jackson Street in the Millard area.
On Friday morning, OPD spokesman, Officer Chris Gordon, told 3 New Now that the individual who was injured "was extremely intoxicated and possibly fell and injured himself." Gordon says that the investigation did not reveal gunshots or injuries due to gunshots.
