Omaha Police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital.
The shooting happened around midnight near 24th and Ida in North Omaha. Police say 57 year old Edward Jones told them someone knocked at his back door, and he was shot several times after he answered the door. Jones was taken to CHI Creighton where he is listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
