OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Omaha Police Department (OPD) says it made an arrest in a homicide investigation dating back to January 2019.

OPD says 30-year-old Dalton Dukes has been charged with first degree murder, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and possession of a weapon by a prohibited person in connection to the death and disappearance of 37-year-old Joseph Hellman.

Hellman was initially reported missing and investigators discovered he was the victim of a homicide after learning foul play was involved.
