Omaha Police have arresed the suspect involved in a sexual assault case that took place Wednesday afternoon on 36th and Laurel.
20-year-old Ariath Mareng was booked into Douglas County Corrections for Sexual Assault and Gun Use in a Felony.
On Wednesday, officers responded to a residence the area of 36th St. & Laurel Ave. regarding a sexual Assault call.
Victim told OPD that the suspect knocked on the door to her residence wanting to use the telephone.
Once the suspect entered the residence he displayed a handgun and then sexually assaulted the victim. The suspect then left the scene in a white 2-door vehicle.
