The Omaha Police Department says Barfield has been located and booked into Douglas County Corrections for his absconding parole warrant.

The Omaha Police Department (OPD) is asking for assistance in finding a convicted murderer who is out on parole and cut off his ankle monitor.
Police say 37-year-old Clinton Barfield, who was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced in 2005, cut off his electronic monitor and his whereabouts are currently unknown. Barfield has a history of gun use and should be considered "armed and dangerous."
Barfield is described as:
- 5 feet 7 inches tall
- 280 pounds
- Black hair
- Brown eyes
