Close to 400 citations were handed out to drivers over Thanksigiving week, after a grant helped put more Omaha patrols on the road.
Omaha Police participated in the national "Click it or Ticket" campaign and eight operations were conducted from Nov. 20 through Nov. 26.
A closer breakdown of the tickets given were: 196 for speeding, 72 related to insurance or registration, 44 red light or stop sign violations, 31 seatbelt violations, 26 license violations and eight DUIs
