OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Police are investigating an assault that occurred near 60th and Sorensen Parkway Saturday night.

Police responded to Immanuel Hospital around 7:45p.m. and spoke to the 22-year-old male victim, who told officers he offered a ride to an acquaintance that ended violently.

During the drive, the parties began to argue, police say. The victim asked the female suspect to exit the vehicle at 60th and Sorenson, where the suspect poked the tire of the victim's car with a knife, then bit and cut the victim before fleeing.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at (402)-444-STOP.
