Officers responded to Creighton Hospital after an 18-year-old victim walked in with a gunshot wound Thursday night.
The victim, Avari Mahadeo told officers that he was leaving a friends house near 27th Ave and Fort Street when an unknown person in a black SUV shot him.
Officers arrived to the hospital after 7:20 p.m..
The investigation is ongoing.
