OPD: Man hurt, suspect wanted in convenience store shooting

The Omaha Police Department has identified the man shot near a convenience store in north Omaha Monday night.

They say 25-year-old Laron Rogers was shot at the Ames Avenue convenience store near 42nd and Ames just before 8:00pm

Rodgers was rushed to the hospital.

His condition is unknown at this time.

Authorities say they are looking for a white Chevy Impala with no plates.
