Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer has picked the city's new Executive Deputy Chief of Police.
Deputy Chief Scott Gray will fill the role.
Gray is a 25 year veteran of the Omaha Police Department and currently oversees the uniform patrol bureau, the largest division in the department.
He begins the new role immediately.
