OPD searching for suspect who allegedly fired gun on the interstate

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Omaha Police Department is looking for a suspect who allegedly fired a gun at a vehicle containing a 15-year-old passenger.

Just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to 42nd and Grover to investigate an assault. The victim told officers she was involved in a road rage incident near Interstate 80 and Highway 75 that ended with a man firing a gun at her vehicle. The victim's 15-year-old daughter was in the vehicle at the time.

The suspect is described as "a white male in his 20s or 30s wearing a dark shirt and backward baseball cap, driving a black 'lifted' truck with orange stripes on the tailgate."
