An old Omaha Public Power District phone scam is making the rounds.
The utility is warning that phony bill collectors are calling people, threatening to disconnect service unless the customer buys a payment card.
OPPD says it has received about three dozen reports of the scam.
This time, the caller threatens to show up at the house or business.
The utility says do not give them personal information.
Call OPPD or police if you have any questions.
